Training programme for diplomats from the Kurdistan Regional Government

From November 24 to December 5, the Diplomatic School of Armenia held its fifth training programme for diplomats from various agencies of the Kurdistan Regional Government.
The programme aimed to deepen the participants’ knowledge in international relations, diplomacy and regional issues, as well as to provide a broader understanding of Armenia and its foreign policy. The agenda also included visits to cultural sites in Yerevan and the regions.
At the conclusion of the programme, Acting Director of the Diplomatic School Tatevik Petrossian awarded certificates to the participants and expressed hope that the knowledge and experience they acquired would contribute to enhancing their professional effectiveness.
The certificate presentation ceremony was also attended by Levon Petrosyan, Head of the Middle East and Africa Department of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, and Mohammad Omer Alshaikhly, Chargé d'Affaires of the Embassy of the Republic of Iraq to the Republic of Armenia. In his remarks, Mr. Alshaikhly highly valued the role of such initiatives in strengthening relations and advancing cooperation.
