11.06.2018 • Ambassador of the Belarus to Armenia Igor Nazaruk

On 11 th   June, on the day when 25 years ago diplomatic relations were established between Armenia and Belarus, the Diplomatic School hosted the Ambassador of the Belarus to Armenia, H.E. Mr. Igor Nazaruk. Ambassador Nazaruk congratulated future diplomats on this occasion and wished them success in strengthening bilateral relations. Ambassador Nazaruk   spoke about the main priorities of the foreign policy of Belarus, the current level of bilateral relations with Armenia, as well as cooperation of the countries within international organizations, particularly the CSTO and EAEU. He answered students’ questions related to regional issues, bilateral relations and other topics.  

07.06.2018 • Ambassador of the Swiss Confederation Lukas Gasser

On 7 th June, the Diplomatic School hosted H.E. Lukas Gasser , Ambassador of the Swiss Confederation in the Republic of Armenia. Ambassador Gasser spoke about the foreign policy specificities of Switzerland , the current state of bilateral economic relations between Armenia and Switzerland and the possible new opportunities of cooperation. The students’ questions covered these and other questions.  

07.06.2018 • Ambassador of India Yogeshwar Sangwan

On 7 th   June Diplomatic School of Armenia hosted Ambassador of the Republic of India in Armenia H.E. Yogeshwar Sangwan. Ambassador Sangwan spoke about the priorities of India’s foreign policy,   India’s policy in region and bilateral relations between Armenia and India. H e described India’s achievements in foreign relations and his government’s efforts to keep the India’s multicultural and multilanguage population informed of these achievements, and answered a number of questions about these and other issues.

06.06.2018 • Ambassador of the Kazakhstan, Mr. Timur Urazayev

On 6 th June, the Diplomatic School hosted the Ambassador of the Kazakhstan, Mr. Timur Urazayev. The Ambassador spoke about the current challenges of foreign policy of Kazakhstan, bilateral relations with Armenia and the cooperation of two countries within different international organizations such as CSTO and the EAEU .

06.06.2018 • Ambassador of Germany Matthias Kiesler

On June 6 th , the Diplomatic School hosted H. E. Matthias Kiesler , Ambassador of the Federal Republic of Germany in the Republic of Armenia. Ambassador Kiesler spoke in detail about the main priorities of German foreign policy, the current state and future prespectives of bilateral relations between Armenia and Germany and his country’s position towards various international issues and answered the students’ questions.  

05.06.2018 • Ambassador of the Argentina Gonzalo Urriolabeitia

On 5 th   June, the Diplomatic School hosted the Ambassador of the Argentina Gonzalo Urriolabeitia. The Ambassador spoke about the current priorities of Argentin a ’s foreign policy, certain realities in South America bilateral relations with Armenia, as well as presented the variety of events that the Embassy organize in Armenia.   Questions covered many aspects of Argentinian policy and regional issues.  

30.05.2018 • Ambassador of the Federative Republic of Brazil H.E. Agemar Medoca de Sanctos at the Diplomatic School

On 30 th May, the Diplomatic School hosted the Ambassador of the Federative Republic of Brazil , H.E.   Agemar Medoca de Sanctos. The Ambassador spoke in detail about the priorities of his country’s foreign policy, the Brazilian participation in different international processes, as well as the current level of bilateral relations with Armenia. A Q&A session with students followed the lecture. 

10.05.2018 • Vladimir Kazimirov at the Diplomatic School of Armenia

On May 10 th , the Diplomatic School hosted Ambassador Vladimir Kazimirov, former co-chair from the Russian Federation in the OSCE Minsk Group, former special representative of the President of Russia on NK Conflict. Ambassador Kazimirov talked about the history of the formation of the OSCE Minsk Group, some details on the settlement of the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict and the ceasefire negotiation process. Afterwards he answered numerous questions of students concerning the different stages of the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict settlement.

03.11.2017 • The visit of the students of the International School of Young Diplomats to the Diplomatic School of Armenia

On November 3th the Diplomatic School of Armenia hosted the students of the International School of Young Diplomats of the Moscow State Institute of International Relations of the MFA of the Russian Federation. In his welcoming speech, the Director of the Diplomatic School of Armenia Vahe Gabrielyan emphasized the importance of this kind of meetings for future diplomats. After a brief presentation on the structure and activities of the Diplomatic School of Armenia, the Director answered the students’ questions. The guests on their turn spoke about their School and their experience in Armenia.  

14.07.2017 • Minister of Culture Armen Amiryan

On July 14 th , the Diplomatic School hosted Mr. Armen Amiryan, the Minister of Culture of the Republic of Armenia. The Minister spoke of government priorities in the sphere, the existing challenges and the role of the Ministry of Culture in the implementation of Armenia’s cultural diplomacy. The Minister answered the numerous questions asked by the students on protection of cultural heritage, on government policies and government policies and planned legislative amendments in the sphere.
