On December 14th, David Fernandez Puyana, Ambassador and Permanent Observer of the University for Peace (UPEACE) to the United Nations Office and other international organizations in Geneva, delivered an online lecture on “Human Rights under COVID-19” for the students of the Diplomatic School of Armenia. Ambassador Puyana spoke about the impact and challenges of the pandemic, human rights protection measures and the activities undertaken by the United Nations. A question and answer session followed the lecture. The meeting was organized in the framework of the Memorandum of Understanding, signed between the Diplomatic School of Armenia and UPEACE in Spring of 2021.
