On September 13^th, the Diplomatic School hosted Dr. Rouben Azizian, professor and former Director at Massey University’s Centre for Defence and Security Studies, Chair of the Auckland Branch of the New Zealand Institute of International Affairs (NZIIA), Editor-in-Chief of the National Security Journal and member of editorial boards of various international academic journals.

Speaking to diplomats and students of the Diplomatic School, Dr. Azizian presented the geopolitics and regional security architecture in the Asia-Pacific, spoke about the role and challenges of small nations and answered questions from the audience.
