Director of the Diplomatic School, Ambassador Vahe Gabrielyan took part in the 48^th International Forum on Diplomatic Training (an annual meeting of Directors of Diplomatic Academies and Deans of Foreign Service Institutes) that took place in New Delhi, from 14^th to 18^th of November. Heads of institutions of diplomatic training from 45 countries took part in the event, that was carried out under the title “Diplomacy for Development”. The participants talked about such issues as equipping diplomats of today to face the challenges of tomorrow, building partnerships for comprehensive development, regional and global cooperation in the post-pandemic world, sustainable development, challenges to reforming multilateralism, how technology is reshaping the world, soft power and others. Achievements of various institutions of diplomatic training were also discussed.

Among other meetings, the Director of the Diplomatic School of Armenia held bilateral talks with Ambassador Sanjiv Ranjan, Dean of the Sushma Swaraj Institute of Foreign Affairs of India and discussed  the prospects of further enhancing and developing  the relations existing between the two institutions.
