10.10.2025 • “South Caucasus: Realities, Challenges and Prospects” training programme for junior diplomats from African countries
From September 29 to October 10, the Diplomatic School hosted its second training programme of the year on the topic "South Caucasus: realities, challenges and prospects", this time for diplomats from African countries. The programme featured lectures by both Armenian and foreign experts, who introduced participants to the developments and challenges in the South Caucasus region. It also included tours to various cultural landmarks in the capital city Yerevan and beyond. Participants visited the History Museum of Armenia, the Mother See of Holy Echmiatsin, Matenadaran and the Armenian Genocide Memorial and Museum, among other sites. On the final day of the training, Tatevik Petrossian, Acting Director of the Diplomatic School of Armenia, presented certificates to the participants. 10.09.2025 • The Graduation Ceremony of the “International Relations and Diplomacy” 2024-25 Programme
On September 10 th , the graduation ceremony of the “International Relations and Diplomacy” 2024-25 programme of the Diplomatic School of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Armenia was held. During the event, the Secretary General of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Armenia, Davit Karapetyan, congratulated the graduates on successfully completing the programme, emphasized the importance of diplomatic education and professional training in foreign policy and wished them success in their future professional careers. At the conclusion of the ceremony, the Secretary General awarded the graduates their graduation certificates.
08.09.2025 • The launch of the 2025-26 “International Relations and Diplomacy” programme
On September 8 , the Diplomatic School of Armenia launched its 202 5 -2 6 “International Relations and Diplomacy” programme with the “Introduction to International Relations” course, delivered by Professor Petr Kratochvíl, Senior Researcher at the Institute of International Relations of the Czech Republic. At the opening of the course, Ms. Tatevik Petrossian, Acting Director of the Diplomatic School, welcomed the new students, congratulated them on their enrollment and provided an overview of the programme.
01.08.2025 • “South Caucasus: Realities, Challenges and Prospects” training programme for junior diplomats from Arab countries
From July 21 to August 1, the Diplomatic School of Armenia held a training programme on “South Caucasus: Realities, Challenges and Prospects” for junior diplomats from Iraq, Morocco, Palestine and Syria. The programme featured lectures by both Armenian and international experts, who introduced the participants to the current developments and challenges in the South Caucasus region. The academic component was complemented by visits to the Mother See of Holy Echmiatsin, Matenadaran, the Armenian Genocide Memorial Complex and Museum-Institute, as well as tours to various cultural sites of Armenia.
02.06.2025 • Meeting with Representatives from the Fletcher School of Law and Diplomacy of Tufts University
On June 2 nd , a meeting was held between Tatevik Petrossian, Acting Director of the Diplomatic School of Armenia and senior representatives from the Fletcher School of Law and Diplomacy of Tufts University: Monica Toft, Academic Dean and Professor of International Politics and Director of the Center for Strategic Studies and Hilary Price, Assistant Dean for Professional Education. During the visit, the guests toured the Diplomatic School’s facilities and were introduced to its academic and mid-career training programmes. The sides discussed opportunities for collaboration and partnership between the two institutions.
26.05.2025 • Meeting with Ambassador Franck Armel Afoukou, Secretary General of the MFA of Benin
On May 26th, a meeting was held between Tatevik Petrossian, Acting Director of the Diplomatic School of Armenia and Ambassador Franck Armel Afoukou, Secretary General of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Benin, who was in Yerevan to participate in the “Yerevan Dialogue 2025” international forum. Ambassador Franck Armel Afoukou had a tour of the premises of the Diplomatic School, got acquainted with its activities and academic programmes. Perspectives of cooperation were discussed during the meeting.
23.05.2025 • Study Tour to International and European Institutions
From May 7 to 22, students enrolled in the “International Relations and Diplomacy” programme participated in a study tour to the headquarters of international organizations and EU institutions in Vienna, Strasbourg, Geneva and Brussels. In Vienna, the students visited the Organization for Security and Cooperation in Europe (OSCE) and the United Nations Office at Vienna. They also attended a session of the OSCE Permanent Council. In addition, they got acquainted with the cultural heritage and activities of the Mekhitarist Congregation, visited the Diplomatic Academy of Vienna and met with its director. In Strasbourg, the group visited the Council of Europe, the European Court of Human Rights and the European Parliament, gaining insights into the functioning of these institutions. 17.04.2025 • Training Programme for Employees of “Enterprise Armenia”
From March 31st to April 17th, the Diplomatic School of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Armenia conducted a specialized training programme for the employees of “Enterprise Armenia”. The three-week course provided intensive training on tree topics: Economic Diplomacy; Negotiation Skills and Diplomatic Ethics and Protocol. The training was delivered by foreign experts of the Diplomatic School. At the end of the training the employees of “Enterprise Armenia” received certificates of participation.
23.01.2025 • Signing of a Memorandum of Understanding between the Diplomatic School of Armenia and the Diplomatic Academy of the Kyrgyz Republic
On February 23 rd , during the visit of Kyrgyz Foreign Minister Zheenbek Kulubaev to Yerevan, an Agreement on Cooperation between the Diplomatic School of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Armenia and the Diplomatic Academy of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Kyrgyz Republic was signed.
24.12.2024 • Graduation of the second "Mid-career training" programme 2024
On December 24 th , graduates of the second “Mid-career training” programme of 2024 of the Diplomatic School of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs received their graduation certificates. Employees from different public agencies responsible for external relations attended the training programme. The Director of the Diplomatic School, Ambassador Vahe Gabrielyan handed certificates to the graduates and wished them success in their future professional activities.
