On June 24th, the Apostolic Nuncio to the Republic of Armenia, Archbishop José Avelino Bettencourt delivered a lecture at the Diplomatic School of Armenia. Archbishop Bettencourt spoke about the Holy See’s structure and mission, as the government centre of the Catholic Church, the appointing procedure and activities of the Apostolic Nuncios, Catholic social teaching principles, as well as touched upon the relations between Armenia and the Holy See and their historical ties.
