The participants of the “The EU and the Caucasus in 2030- Envisioning the Future” workshop at the Diplomatic School

On March 17th, the Diplomatic School of Armenia hosted participants of the workshop “The EU and the Caucasus in 2030- Envisioning the Future” organized by the University of Tubingen in Yerevan from 12th to 17th of March..
Participants form Armenia, Germany, Georgia and Abkhazia, were hosted by the Diplomatic School of Armenia to discuss the scenarios of the EU-Caucasus relations in the future, which they have developed throughout the workshop.
The Director of the Diplomatic School of Armenia, Amb. Vahe Gabrielyan, welcomed the participants in the lecture room named “Europe”, after which the Head of the EU division of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Armenia, Mr. Ara Margarian presented the history of Armenia-EU relations, spoke of the Comprehensive and Enhanced Partnership Agreement, which was signed between Armenia and the European Union in 2017. Mr. Margarian commented on the scenarios that the participants cultivated during the five days of the workshop, which led to a fruitful discussion. The panel was followed by a question and answer session.
